The Tragical Mirth of Marriage & Love : Short Scenes by Anton Chekhov

Some marriages are tragical.  Some farcical.  All are challenging!

From The Proposal to The Wedding to The Anniversary, two actors trace the course of five romantic relationships as they travel the shifts of courtship, romance, marriage and family duty. With never an inactive moment, Chekov examines our human impulse to make melodrama out of the crossroads in life and the overwhelming emotion involved when in-laws enter the picture!
